It been long that i have posted any thing on blog . But this time i have a unique science to discuss on .

TRANSACTIONAL ANLYSIS.

How crucial it is to know why we speak & behave the way we speak 7 behave (confusing isnt it?).

Alot of experts talk about different sciences & experiments that have happened on human being.
In the scientific era that all of us are into , isnt it imperative that we have a definite answer to these questions.

In the quest of learning my self & people around me . To support my research on political negotiations, i have started my journey with TA. Will keep sharing with all of you my learnings , & hope that it have a postive difference to all of you.

Synopsis of Different Brain Colours

GREEN BRAIN
COMMUNICATION - GENENTIC PROCESSING AND MENTAL FLEXIBILITY

      People with green brain process their surroundings as a summary of the over all situations and see that “Big Picture” (Although the Picture is Fuzzy) of the things they get involved in. Thinking is non-Linear random chunks where NOTHING is connected
      Green Processers are extremely good in problem solving, because they look information as stand alone & nothing is connected
      Due to the randomness of the brain they can only concentrate one thing at a time. Though there will be lot of things getting processed to clear the big picture
      They are action oriented as immediately get into actions with a small amount of information, because they can visualize the big picture
      They work well with other people as well as by themselves
MISCOMMUNICATION INSIGHT FOR GREEN BRAIN

      Communicating with Green Brain people can be challenging to some because they don’t pay attention to details, and while they are good communicators they are often too general in their explanations
      People may perceive them impatient
      People may perceive them erratic & fickle
      Some May feel they are pushing their Views, however they put it confidently due to visualization of BIG PICTURE
BLUE BRAIN
COMMUNICATION - GENENTIC PROCESSING AND MENTAL FLEXIBILITY

      Blue brain people have a high intuitive base, blue brain process & communicate in association perceptions.
      Everything is connected for blue brain, shapes, sizes, distance, & all these things are connected to everything. They simultaneously keep processing and shaping their communication.
      This sequence gives them extra sensitivity to  read and interact with people.
      The emotions & perceptions of long ago connect with every new association and the brain automatically checks for correlations and discrepancies that subconsciously yields intuitions
      They are Versatile & Flexible and capable of multi roles
      They will usually take blame when something they are involved in goes amiss
      Blue brain people communicate at a deep level with others because of their verbal expressiveness and intuitions
MISCOMMUNICATION INSIGHT FOR BLUE BRAIN

      Blue brain are sometime misunderstood because they will often take things personally.
      They get so involved in something that they are not able to differentiate between their & others feeling
      They are prone to talk about things that bother them, NOT to get solutions but to just speak it out
      Other may Interpret it as nagging or complaining.
      Misinterpretations can be due to their “being nice” people might misinterpret them as weak
PURPLE BRAIN
COMMUNICATION - GENENTIC PROCESSING AND MENTAL FLEXIBILITY

      “Information is King to Purple brain”. Their Processing requires them to absorb information before they can take appropriate actions.
      Their brain genetic make-up connects information, time, task, people, etc on a data frame.
      For them, the more information they have, the more stable a connections become
      They need details, and information from different prospective to create an almost 3D data model in their brain
      This clarity assists them in strategic planning & the creation of systems
      Because of their accumulation of information and that is catalogued for later use, they will often have a sense of individual identity rather than group identity, yet family is of great importance
      They are more inclined to follow rules because of their orderly nature.
To learn, they need considerable context in an hands-on environment, and sufficient time to assimilate information
MISCOMMUNICATION INSIGHT FOR PURPLE BRAIN


     Purple Brain are commonly misunderstood because they usually take much longer to act or make decisions.

     They require much longer time to come to decisions , they might appear to be doing nothing, when in reality they are gathering information

     They seldom express their feeling , as they feel they will speak when it is required, however people may perceive them as insensitive

     They will often show their caring by creating smooth operational system in life and work
RED BRAIN
COMMUNICATION - GENENTIC PROCESSING AND MENTAL FLEXIBILITY

      Clarity Is the Power to Red Brain, Their action sequence collects information & cross checks for reference points
      Before  conducting any task, reference check is must
      They Process Facts Logically, which carries the ability to detach themselves from the situations and be extremely objective/task oriented. This is the reason why they do not express emotions & tend to remain calm under stress.
      They process information in long term perspective & often think in future
      They Usually think through issues to give completed thoughts & are also good at catching discrepancies & out of place ideas in projects or planning
      Other than any other brain , Red brain people live their lives based on a high value system & seek to create a clarifying structure to keep those values from being violated

      Because of the strong sense of structure, communicating with Red Brain people can be challenging because others may perceive them as inflexible.
      They appear to be insensitive because of their emotional non-expressiveness and their ability to remain detached. If they see no value or any real risk in change, they will resist it.
      Their analytical and objectives nature may deplete their acceptance of new concepts or ideas

WHAT IS DIRECTIVE COMMUNICATION ?


Directive Communication is an organizational Development & Training psychology developed by Mr. Arthur F Carmazzi that reveals “how people act and react in groups and provides a structure for the influence of those groups. The discipline was founded in 2001 when Carmazzi found himself working in a dysfunctional organization with an apathetic attitude, and performing at levels far below his own aptitude. His dissatisfaction led the research that today is known as Directive Communication
MORE SCIENTIFIC STUFF:
The Directive Communication methodology incorporates motivational and genetic psychology.  Then applies them to cultivating an awareness of how an individual affects, and is affected, by the dynamics of the people around them in specific groups. Directive Communication becomes the science of organizations peak performance and was commercially applied to developing leadership, improving change management & corporate culture, team development, workforce enhancement and group behavior modification, and in high yield training & development.  In non-commercial environment, Directive Communication serves to cultivate better personal relationships, raising children and becoming more fulfilled & responsible citizens.
The name “Directive Communication” refers to the idea that communication is constant, and is constantly causing & affecting the individuals and groups involved whether it’s verbal or non-verbal.

      1)      Individuals have potential to be inspired or uninspired at any given time, depending on  
               their environment and their focus
2)      Reaction of environment takes place in the reptilian brain (8% of overall brain) and is a product of violated assumptions about the way that things should happen or be.
3)       The Reptilian brain does not reason and therefore reactions are “Non-Intelligent” actions
4)      By understanding the psychology of how as why people act and react to each other in groups, an individual can change ones consistent behavior in an environment as affect the entire environment
5)      The subconscious action based on assumptions about the way that people should be, manifest the way others treat them
6)      Because of these subconscious actions, everyone is personally responsible for the way others treat them and the creation of their own environment
7)      “Personality” cannot be defined or “Categorized”, it can only be “Interpreted” by understanding the three separate components of character. The Mental, The Physical & The Emotional
8)      Each Person mentally processes the world around them based on a genetic brain processing and while we cannot change our genetic processors we learn “Software” to compensate
9)      Our emotional Motivations and driven by eight primary emotional drivers, these are products of our environment and are subject to change over time
10)   We have habitual physical postures that affect our focus, attitude and the way our environment interacts with us

This sound complicated than it is basically the people you hang out with affect you & you affect them. And, the moods you all create can be changed by just one person in the group. So if you know the mechanics of how this all works, you can determine the mood or motivation, or effectiveness in a human being.

As individuals affects and are affected by each other in specific work and personal environments, Directive Communication sets the emotional and decision making base for optimizing the way people interact with each other in an organization , them or group. It enables individual’s ability to specifically and positively direct enthusiasm and action for themselves and the people around them. Day 2 - With Arthur Carmazzi

Got up LATE…….., So reached the training room LATE, & then ……………. DC RAP was waiting for me……………
Danced to Arthur’s tune ………. & everyone laughing….  LLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Now the show begins…………………….
We were assigned a task of presenting a part of content of earlier day (Day1).
I had to present on “WHY YOU ARE RIGHT”, “BLAME” & the “NO BLAME ZONE”.
My presentation was the fifth one, before that while my other colleagues were presenting, I had few doubts too. Primarily from the end user prospective or may be the marketing point of view, however that went  negative for them . Few of them stuck up and the presentation did not go well for them.
Then it was my turn to present and trust me “MY KARMA” (according to Arthur) treated me the same way.
I fumbled with a concept of Neurosis & Character Disorder………………………. J
I received feedback…………… NASTY ONES …………….. J …………………….
But honestly all of them were so true,…………..
This give me an opportunity to thank all my DC colleagues, who helped me to become better .
 Similaraly we finished all the session by launch……………………………….
AND THE IT WAS THE MASTERS TURN…………………… J
WE BEGAN OUR MODULE 2 “COLOURED BRAIN”
The moment I heard about colored brain, I has a mystic smile on my face….. a thought ran through  my mind…… NOW WHAT IS THE COLOUR OF MY BRAIN?...... I THINK IT’S BLACK….. JJJJJJJJJJJ
Yeah how many of you know? That our brain has different colours……
I am sure when you read this you are going to be zapped. We have 4 colours of brain.
And the colors are GREEN, BLUE, and RED & PURPLE.
To understand better My Brain or (The Information Processor) that I have, I went through a psychometric Instrument on “Coloured Brain Communication Inventory”
Guess what I have a “GREEN BRAIN”…. THE “WANDERER”
Traits that Green Colour Brain has are……
·         Creative problem solving
·         Same problems have many solution at same time
·         People with Green Brain are forward moving, hence can see the “Big Picture” ( and the Screw up with small thing JJJJJJJJJJ )
·         They think non-liner ( so they keep moving…… and highly unstable,,, JJJJJJJJJ)
·         Interactions and exchanging idea is natural to these character
THEN COMES THE “RED BRAIN” …… “THE TIME KEEPERS”
These folks need Clarity of concepts & thoughts…… that’s power for them…..
Guess what? …. Now I understand My DC colleague Colonel Sood is a Red Brain……. He…. He….. He…. He J
& he is amazing to be with………………….
THEN COMES THE “BLUE BRAIN”………. “THE CARE- TAKERS”
These creatures have an emotional base hence blue brain people, process & communicate in FEELINGS…….
Now I guess why my DC colleague Sonali is the way she is……  HE…. HE…. HE…. HE…. HE…. HE…. HE…. J…. ,
However these creatures are great when it comes to multi tasking. Their sequence provides an extra sensitive ability to read and interact with people.
AND LAST IS THE “PURPLE BRAIN” … THE “INFORMATION KING”
Information is king to the people with purple brain. They require so much of information ……. That lead them to take time to take decisions…. However their decisions are accurate too. Also to understand if they go wrong…..
They will find out where they have gone wrong in the process & redesign the new process all over again.

Some Interesting facts….. About Green & Purple brain,
When Green Brain wants quick decisions & New Ideas…… Purple wants information till the core of earth…… I am sure when these color brain individual might interact & do not act intelligent they must be ending up with conflicts………..

Friend I think, all our organizations have Green, Blue, Red & Purple Colored brain employee & hence conflicts, heated arguments, pear pressure exists in our organization.
YEAH….. I still have to confirm, whether I really have Green Color Brain. This will get clear with an other tool…. The DC CARDS…..

Day 0 & 1- With Arthur Carmazzi

It’s the first time to write a blog,…………… and what a wonderful reason to do so.

Today i start my journey to change myself to become a better individual in my personal & professional life. It’s a privilege to start this journey with one of the finest leadership Gurus on our planet Mr Arthur Carmazzi (Founder – Directive Communication Psychology) 

Before I start this journey I would express my sincere gratitude towards my family, my friends & all my mentors and Managers who groomed me to reach at this level of learning. 

I am currently getting the DC Train the Trainer program, which is first time happening in India.

Day 1: Live with Arthur,
His Big and honest smile made a difference; in a moment I had decided that here is someone who  is genuine & wants to share knowledge.
By the end of the day my perception turned right, he just did not give us knowledge but also taught us the application of that knowledge.
Learning 1: How a child suffering from Dyslexia termed as special child, actual term “a stupid child” makes it big in the corporate world. That is Arthur himself.
This training is based on proven scientific method, yeah but you have fun with the character in the training, monkey & the lizard.
He explained us how we behave like monkeys & lizards (Hero & Villain) in our daily life.
The design of “World of Work” is amazing; all the five islands are so real.
·         Meeting Lands :  where teams meet, discuss and generate great results , however the same island has a cliff of death, which may just kill the productivity of every team member.
·         Land of Solitude: Where you are alone and are so productive that you manage to complete your task in no time, you are creative and resolve issues in no time. However the same place you are lost some time, you and I don’t know what you do. We pretend to work)
·         Team land: Where employees along with you are so motivated that all of them co-operate & help, assist each other to fulfill goals & targets , however the same place we bitch about team members , we blame them , we hold them responsible for things going wrong.
·         Continent of Communication: Where all the employees are updates about the company information and day to day activities, however in the same place employee are confused and misinterpret the communication and all goes for toss.
·         Fulfillmentopia: The ultimate sense of achievement & the same place the reasons for failures….,…..
TO CONNECT THESE ISLANDS WE HAVE THE UNCHANTED WATER, UNTOUCHED & CLEAR……. ITS ABOUT USING IT TO HELP US NAVIGATE THROUGH THESE WONDERFUL ISLAND IN OUR “WORLD OF WORK”
Learning 2: why we blame each other for things that are not accomplished……. That because of RAS…………………………
So I have decided to create a No Blame Zone around me………. Unknowingly whoever blames whomever I will alert myself and say “ARE YOU BLAMING,  J
Learning 3 : All have problems , Bigger the problem bigger Hero you become if you accomplish….. Wonderful examples like, M.Gandhi , D.Ambani , R.TATA, B.Obama, and so many.
Learning 4: Focus on the objective, not on the process.
Learning 5: Time Management through RAS
Learning 6: The Maze Rule.
Learning 7 : Rule of Engagement, something I have immediately started applying and is giving me results
